Theology Class:
We’re offering two upcoming classes discussing distinctive aspects of what a PCA church believes. These sessions are required for anyone currently taking our membership class, but they’re also open to anyone who simply wants to learn more and grow in their faith. The two topics are Covenant Theology, which is an explanation of how the Bible is One Cohesive Story, and Complementarianism, which is a view on God’s design for Gender in the church. Each will take place on a Sunday (9/20 and 9/27) at 9am before church in Conference Room B. Please RSVP if you plan on coming, so we can get a good attendance estimate!

PRAY WITH US

Missionary Family: The L Family

  • Pray for wisdom as they handle crises, equip team leaders, and seek God's vision for the region.
  • Pray for God to transform South Asian communities through education.
  • Pray for M & J's four boys to continue growing through school, sports, new friends, and time with extended family.
  • Pray for the L Family to receive rest and refreshment as they slow down, visit friends and supporters, and look toward the next season abroad.

Serve With Us

We are looking for more people to join our Welcoming Team! Our desire is to cultivate a warm and an inviting atmosphere, to make each person feel seen as they walk in through the doors. Please join us in sharing Christ’s love in this way and to welcome people into our church family. Please email us at renewalccwelcomingcommittee@gmail.com if you are interested or if you have any questions!

We are looking to recruit more members! If you have a heart for global missions and would like to be a part of supporting and encouraging the missionaries of Renewal, this could be a great fit for you! We are looking for people to join our support groups for our missionaries, to help plan for our annual Missions Conference in November, and to join us for our monthly Missionary Prayer Breakfast. Please email missions@renewalcc.org for more information!

If you’re interested in serving on our praise ministry team, including sound, please email praise@renewalcc.org for more information or speak to us after service!

We are in need of volunteers for the multimedia team. If you’re interested, please email mimiko@renewalcc.org.

Renewal has been partnering with Bethesda My Brothers House, a nonprofit organization that provides a Safe Haven, emergency shelter, housing, and support services to the homeless community. We are currently seeking volunteers to serve lunch and share a meal alongside the residents at My Brother’s House. This opportunity takes place monthly, typically on the last Saturday of each month, from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM. If you have any questions, please reach out to Joel Choe, Jay Garcia, Jun Shin, or Sue Park at Bethesda@renewalcc.org. Sign up here!

Coffee Hour

Everyone is invited to come to the Crane Center one hour early at 9:30am to enjoy a cup of fresh-brewed coffee, which will be made available outside the gym. Our hope is that this will provide a comfortable, inviting, and informal atmosphere for everyone to not only drink coffee but also interact with one another and form new friendships outside of the Community Group context. You are encouraged, but not required, to bring your own thermos to minimize the number of paper cups that need to be used.

Diaconate Care

If you have any felt needs (physical or spiritual), please contact the Renewal Diaconate (care@renewalcc.org). One of our deacons or deaconesses will schedule a time to meet with you.

  • We look to offer the compassion and love of Christ as we meet and pray with you.
  • We will walk with you through a process that our Diaconate team has made to see how we can best help you.
  • We serve alongside the community of members of Renewal and our leadership team of pastors, elders, and women’s council.
